He Was Warned Not to Adopt This Cat — After He Brings It Home, The Police Knock On His Door

Danny Boulder from Houston, Texas discovered a stray kitten in poor condition while traveling alone in Mexico. He brought it to the States with the intention of bringing it back to health, against the advice of the locals.

But it was immediately made clear to Danny that he had made a significant mistake when a few days later two police officers arrived at his home.

He should have just left the kitten where it was. 

It’s the Cops

Danny was surprised by a loud knock on his front door one day. He saw two policemen knocking on his door as he peered out the window. Well, it wasn’t really “knocking” since it was so loud for him that the entire front door was shaking with every knock. Danny’s heart rate quickened.

Why were they looking for him?

Finding the Kitten

The police entered his home as soon as he flung open the door. Danny attempted to stop them and demanded an explanation, but all he received in response was the question, “Where is it?!

Where is the cat?”

Danny was astonished to learn that this was truly about the stray kitten he had discovered while on vacation.

You Can’t Keep It

Everything made sense to Danny when one of the cops eventually explained why they were looking for the cat.

He could not possibly keep this animal…

But what was wrong with this kitten? Should Danny have just left it behind when he found it? And why did the police have to get involved?

He Cannot Abandon the Cat

Danny saw the cat and knew he couldn’t leave the poor thing behind the instant he saw it. He felt his heart melt as it continued to meow and purr. Yet, it seemed that he was the only one in the area who had such opinion since not a single bystander paid it any kind of attention.
