Homeless Man Received $400,000 from Rich Couple; They Were Shocked When He Filed a Lawsuit

Jessica and Pedro made an effort to assist a homeless guy. They wanted to do all in their power to assist the unfortunate guy they had come across while traveling. They made the decision to reward him a whopping $400,000. The homeless guy seemed surprised.

An Unexpected Visitor

Knocking on the main door was heard by Jessica. She had no clue who it might be since they had not anticipated anybody. She spotted a guy carrying a registered mail as she opened the door. She was informed that a guy called Jake had filed a lawsuit against the company.

Jessica then remembered the homeless guy they assisted had filed a lawsuit against them. Why, though?

What Just Happened?

Jessica hurried to her husband to break the news. Incredulous, he just couldn’t take it in. They gave this guy a huge chunk of bucks to help out. He has to stop being so negative and sue those people. Solicitor Pedro phoned immediately and broke the news that things were considerably worse.

In Big Trouble

In a few of days, they were expected in court. Their lawyer was in the dark about their actions. They should not have given them any money at all, looking back. Jessica and Pedro’s lawyer warned them that they were in serious danger. Furthermore, the IRS was looking into their practices.

Truly Baffled

Even worse, the cops showed up at their house the next day. The circumstances demanded that Pedro be questioned in custody. Pedro did not know what to make of it. What was meant as an act of goodwill turned into something terrible. But what on earth could have triggered this uproar?
