House Plans Tells Man There’s Something Beneath Lawn So He Digs Deeper

The passageway went down so steeply that Johnny actually felt a wave of vertigo hit as he looked down. Johnny was acutely aware of the fact that he was being watched but his curiosity got the better of him.

Securing a rope to the top end of the structure, he took a deep breath and began descending into the darkness. He had no idea what lay below and hoped he would be able to get back to the top.

His Own Space

Johnny had only moved into his new house a few months prior. The place was great but lacked a few personal renovations that would make it his dream home.

He contacted his realtor to arrange a copy of the house plans. He felt excited about the project. What he didn’t know was that the property held a secret that went back decades.

A Big Change

Johnny Cote had been a lifelong resident of Montreal. He loved his home and all his family was still there but when he was asked to take a job in Oregon, he could not pass up the opportunity.

Johnny knew it would be a jarring change as he had never lived outside of Canada before. Settling in would take a while but he had no idea just how adventurous his time in the USA would prove to be.

The House

Johnny looked around extensively before buying a house in Oregon that fit him just right. Johnny was very particular about the way he liked things so the house had to be perfect. He settled into the neighborhood easily enough.

The people were friendly enough but could sometimes be a little nosy, something Johnny wasn’t accustomed to. Things had been going well in the new place until he started looking into its background.

The Plans

After requesting the blueprints, Johnny was told by his realtor that he needed to lodge a formal request with the local municipality. He hoped that they would not give him any trouble and allow him to extend the property.

After securing the plans, he poured over them with a keen eye, trying to identify the best way to proceed with the renovations. He felt a moment of dread when he noticed that there seemed to be a huge discrepancy in the plans and the actual layout of the property.
