She had just pulled up the driveway on her way home from work when she spotted the open garage door. Despite it being opened just a little, she could still see the shine of her husband’s truck. She found this strange.

She knew her husband hardly ever parked in the garage and wondered why he had decided to that day. She decided to park on the side of the road to have a better vantage point, trying to figure it out. That’s when the woman dressed in black caught her eye. She was sneaking past the truck.

Linda and Cliff have been looking for the ideal neighborhood to start their family and finally found one in a small town in Iowa. Their jobs had them traveling all over the country, constantly on the move.

After being with her for seven years, Cliff decided he wanted Linda to be his wife. He had become a full-fledged SEAL and had gone on several tours. Linda had progressed further in her pursuit of a Ph.D. in civil law.

The pair had been fortunate enough in their respective careers to travel across America. Linda had lectured as a guest professor at various universities and had Cliff accompany her due to his deployments. The timing was perfect, but things would not remain perfect for much longer.

The couple’s decision to move to Iowa changed everything. The two-story house was equipped with two garages and a driveway. When she saw the garden, Linda thought the house had come straight out of her dreams.
