Being the hero means risking your life to help out someone in need. It’s a selfless act that we assume and want nothing in return. Just the thought that we could save or make someone’s life better is a reward for many of us.

While dogs don’t think this much at the consequences of their heroic deeds, they’re known to be courageous and selfless, especially when it’s about putting their lives on the line for their loved ones.
