Little Girl Sees Odd Shape In Lake Then Leaps Out In Fright

But there was more; he informed her that it was a treasured item that a courageous warrior must have lost in the lake hundreds of years ago.

Adventure Is Out There

Olivia Nilsson was a Swedish 8-year0old who had a passion for going on adventures. Growing up in a small town, there wasn’t much to do. However, there was a beautiful lake in their village, and Olivia would frequently ask her parents to take her to it, even if it was in the freezing cold winter.

Olivia begged her parents for the entire morning until they eventually agreed to take her as soon as it was the weekend. If they knew what she would stumble upon, they would have never let her near that lake ever again.

Protecting The Realm

Olivia would spend her Saturday mornings with a hot cup of cocoa and her favorite cartoons about princesses and knights. She enjoyed playing pretend in her garden and protecting her home from bad guys with her imaginary sword. However, she knew she needed more space to have her fun.

This is why she was so grateful that there was a magnificent lake down the street from her house. Because the water level was much lower than usual due to the drought, she could freely dive in the water without wondering what dangers might lurk in the water.

Excitement

Olivia woke up early that Saturday morning and ate her breakfast as fast as she could. She hopped in the car, and her parents started the 15m drive to the lake. There was no parking at the lake, so they had to leave their vehicle in the parking lot and walk the remainder.

Olivia could not contain her excitement and ran to the spot that she was so fond of. She had not been to the lake for months now, and her parents felt safe knowing that the water was low enough for their daughter to play freely.

Things Were Different

The landscape of the lake looked different due to the drought. Parts of the that were previously underwater had become the new shoreline. Even though they were supportive of their daughter’s love for adventure, they needed to keep a close eye on her.

If they were to take their eyes off her for even a second, she would slip away. They still encouraged her to have a good time and enjoy herself as much as they could while they were having a lovely lunch by the lake.
