It hadn’t been seen by anyone yet. Only those on-site who recorded it.

The mystery had been around for decades. Then Lost 52 Project got their hands on the case.

Tim Taylor and his wife Christine Dennison’s private company had one very clear goal that would take them from foreign libraries to the freezing depths of the ocean floor.

The name “Project 52” was because 52 submarines had disappeared in WWII. They looked to recover them.

They had a lot of resources at their disposal and even got the go-ahead from the government. But they had other important duties too.

A duty to give closure to the many families of the people on the subs when they disappeared.

Now that they had the green light to look for the U.S.S Greyback, they put everything on the case. 80 people disappeared along with it and it had been so long that they weren’t coming back. But the truth would just be good enough.

Special Case

But this was a special case, the project wasn’t a normal one.

No one even knew where the submarine had been for 3 quarters of a decade. It was weirdly not where it should have been.
