Mama Bear Does This After Man Saves Cubs

He just watched in horror as the poor cubs could barely stay above the water. Their mother wasn’t close and they were at the mercy of mother nature.

He was just a regular fisherman who just happened to be fishing at the time. He had no idea that this had happened. He heard the sounds that the poor animals were making. He had to do something.

An Ordinary Fishing Trip

Ruslan Lukanin wanted to get some fresh air with his best friend so they decided to go on the lake and fish and have a few drinks.

The Moscow man was excited to go on Lake Vygozero. But the lake was known for its huge surface area coupled with the forest surrounding it.

Something In The Water

The two men were relaxing on the water when they noticed a mother bear and her cubs swimming in the water. They were trying to cross. Ruslan didn’t think much at first since the forests always had bears in them.

But they noticed soon that something was very wrong. As the mother swam her two cubs lagged behind significantly.

Fighting The Current

The current was strong in the windy afternoon and the gap between the mother and her cubs kept growing. It seemed the mother was focused on her own safety.

She raced to the island to save herself while her poor cubs struggled to keep up. Ruslan and his friend knew they had a dilemma. They needed to do something or the bears would drown.

Struggling

Ruslan still didn’t want the mother bear to retaliate if he got too close to the cubs but still needed to save them.

But as the seconds passed by they knew they had to save them. Once the mother bear was far enough away they knew it was their chance to save them. The bears seemed to know they wanted to help.
