Man Buys Old, Cheap Photo For $2. When He Checks Closer, He Jumps
He couldn’t believe what this historian was telling him. The photo he was holding in his hand had the potential to rewrite history as we know it. Is the face frozen in time on this photo really that of an outlaw who had once been an icon? Being right would be an amazing discovery, being wrong would be a great embarrassment. Being right could also bring him millions.
After years of struggling this could finally be his chance. But he had no idea of the five-year ordeal that was about to unfold.
Struggling

Randy Guijarro was not someone who believed in luck. He had been raised to know that hard work was the only way to get something in life. Randy was the youngest in his family of six. Even at a young age, he took pride in everything he possessed.
When he was only seven years old his mother nicknamed him “the hoarder” because of the fact that he always picked up scrap, shiny buttons, pennies from the street and more.
Collecting

His mother hoped that, in time, his magpie-like tendencies and junk collecting would disappear. Unfortunately, however, it didn’t. It wasn’t long before his house became a maze of “junk,” as his family called it.
To him, the piles of comics, coins, paintings, toys, etc. were all prized possessions. And while everyone else considered it worthless, Randy was about to prove them wrong.
Destiny

Randy made a living for himself by selling the things he collected, each item having its own story. However, things changed once he met a woman called Linda.
Once they finally decided to move in together she made him promise that he would scale down on his habit. What he didn’t know was that one decision would not only turn his world upside down but shake the western world too.
Tempted

It seemed to be a day like any other in 2010 when Randy was wandering around the Fresno Tower District. He had gone to meet a friend for coffee and now found himself passing Fulton’s Folly Antique Collective. He decided to pop into the store despite his promise to Linda that he’d sell the contents of their spare bedroom before buying anything else. He didn’t see the harm in taking a look. After all, he’d be out in under ten minutes.
