Man Claiming To Be Jesus Has Wild 2022 Predictions

There’s a man who lives in the Taiga forest in Siberia. The strange thing about this man is that he is convinced he’s the reincarnation of Jesus. But also leads a cult.

He has 5,000 people who follow him and call him “The Teacher”. He also says that God has told him of a terrible future for mankind.

Sergei Torop was a traffic cop during the Soviet Union before getting fired in 1989, just as its regime came to an end.

After the Soviet Union was no more Torop walked proudly into Red Square in Moscow and exclaimed that he was Jesus Christ’s reincarnation.

Desperate Times

At the time, the Russian people were riddled with fear and worry about their future and the future of their nation. Many people rejected Vissarion straight away but others were desperate for something to believe in. People worried for him.

He was rejected immediately but over time people needed something to believe in, and he was there.

This meant that Torop’s “Church of the Last Testament” was born to show hope in a dark time.

Creepy And Dangerous

Torop calls himself Vissarion which in English means “he who gives new life”. He even grew long hair and wears a plain robe like Jesus is said to in western circles.

His predictions of the future grew bolder and soon some called him ‘creepy’ or ‘dangerous’. The authorities had to get involved.

Radical Beliefs

The 5,000 followers believe in his will and beliefs. Torop has even written his own bible that they turn to – which contains a lot of radical ideas.

A few beliefs from his bible include that suicide is alright, money is materialistic and won’t get anyone anywhere, and that not one but two big bangs created the universe.
