Man Finds Abandoned Island Base Not On Any Map

Many Americans flock to Martha’s Vineyard in the summer to relax and enjoy the luxury resorts that the island boasts.

However, a mere three miles away is an island that no man even dares to set foot on. Only a few creatures reside on the island, but aside from that, the island is empty. And there is a horrifying reason for that.

The terrifying island is appropriately named Nomans Land. Unlike Martha’s Vineyard, one won’t be greeted with luxurious beaches and five-star restaurants.

No person resides in Nomans Land. But what is the terrifying reason why no man dares to go to the island? It is perfect for real estate development, so why is it completely deserted?

Martha’s Vineyard is known for its real estate value. The houses in the Vineyard go for more than a million dollars each. Thus, it would make sense to develop Nomans Land?

However, nobody wants to get close to it. This supposedly charming island has been abandoned for tragic reasons lurking beneath the shadows.

However, the island was not always free from man. The Wampanoag people inhabited the island prior to the British Colonization. Bartholomew Gosnold established himself on the island in 1602.

Chief Tequenoman was in charge of the island during that time. The island was named after the infamous chief. However, even the descendants of the Wampanoag tribe won’t go to the island.
