Man Finds Buried Chain, Pulls It Up And Jumps Back

It was a rainy day like any other when Mike went out with his metal detector. Mike was hoping that his hobby would lead him to discover buried treasure some day.

As he absentmindedly swept his detector back and forth he was suddenly jarred into the moment when a loud beeping started to come from the machine. His heart started to beat faster from excitement.

Little did he know that soon the cops would be involved.

When we are young, everyone dreams of finding hidden treasure. This fantasy is part of why we enjoy things like ‘hide and seek’ and easter egg hunts. For Mike, that sense of adventure never went away as he grew older.

Hard Work

Curious by nature, Mike never expected to find anything as monumental as he was about to. When his detector went off that wet, windy day, Mike eagerly started digging, excited to see what he had found.

He also never expected to find himself in trouble with the law.

There Was Something There

When the detector started to go off, Mike moved all over the field, making sure of the location of what he found underground.

At first, he thought his detector might be malfunctioning because instead of growing softer when he walked away, the beeping grew louder.

Digging Deeper

Finally, Mike found the spot he assumed would be the best placer to dig, he started to clear away the soft wet soil. He was excited as he started to dig, not knowing that he was about to make his dreams, and nightmares, come true.
