An Ordinary Life

Angelo Smith was born and raised in Rosewood and had two beautiful children. The single dad was a humble plumber and loved life.

But he was unaware that one weekend when he went to his regular stomping ground – his lake – that he would find something unimaginable.

Taking His Kids To The Lake

He thought he’d treat his children to a nice time at the lake too. He thought that he wouldn’t have to get a sitter and that he could also bond with them some more.

He put them in the car and drove them half an hour to the lake. They saw some other people there also enjoying the majesty of the lake – hikers, swimmers, and more. As he parked the car he was still oblivious as to what was lying in wait in the waters.

Something Waiting

It was July and that meant at Fort Collins it could be as hot as 87 degrees Fahrenheit. But that’s what made the lake so special.

He loved staving off the heat in the summer but he wasn’t the only one. But he had no idea what was underneath the surface of the water. But he would soon know.

The Perfect Lake

The lake was beautiful in the summertime. The blue waters were clear and the scenes around the lake were majestic. It was his favorite place to relax after a long week.

He was excited for his children to love the lake just the way he did. They were so full of life. But they were unaware of the rumors around the lake. It was said to have a dark history.
