Man Shares His Cat’s Hilarious Reaction To Him Opening A Can, Receives A Comic Strip From A Stranger

If you’re a cat owner, you know that every time you open a package, can, or pretty much anything that smells like food, your fluffy friend is going to assume it’s time for dinner.

No matter what kind of food you’re about to eat, your cat will try and snatch some of it. This is a common behavior in cats and dogs and has turned into some hilarious memes.

 Jesse and Khaleesi

A voice actor and writer Jesse Nowack from the East coast, recently shared his cat’s reaction after opening a can of tuna. His photos instantly went viral.

His cat Khaleesi, who is 4-years-old, absolutely loves tuna and does not want to accept the fact that this delicious can of “seat meat” isn’t for her. “She’s a rescue that I found in a shelter in New York.

She came there apparently all the way from Florida, which no one knew the story behind when I tried to ask,” Jesse explained.

She Loves Tuna

FODMAP Everyday

Every time he opens a can of tuna, Khaleesi runs to the kitchen to see if she can get a portion of it. Although, she is picky about her food. “I’ve briefly tried to give her human food, but she won’t eat it. Not even tuna.

She’s a super picky eater and will only eat certain kinds of cat food, which can be frustrating,” Jesse said. His cat does this with any can he opens.

Once Jesse opened a can of beans and Khaleesi got very excited, but once she smelled it, he saw the look of betrayal on her face.

She’s Not an Ordinary Cat

Khaleesi is not an ordinary cat. “When she’s done using the litter box, she refuses to bury her business and will instead make a burying motion on the floor, the walls, everywhere around the litter box except in the actual litter.

She also likes kicking the walls around the house with her back paws, like Thumper from “Bambi.” She’s a total weirdo, and I love her,” he said.

Too Much Tuna Isn’t Healthy

Although Jesse loves Khaleesi very much, he doesn’t share his tuna with her every time. While it’s okay for cats to eat tuna sometimes, vets don’t recommend feeding them tuna regularly. Too much “sea meat” can cause mercury poisoning.

Also, there aren’t enough nutrients in tuna for cats, so owners can’t rely on this product solely. Otherwise, their four-legged friends might suffer from malnourishment.
