Martha’s Vineyard is known for its real estate value. The houses in the Vineyard go for more than a million dollars each. Thus, it would make sense to develop Nomans Land?

However, nobody wants to get close to it. This supposedly charming island has been abandoned for tragic reasons lurking beneath the shadows.

However, the island was not always free from man. The Wampanoag people inhabited the island prior to the British Colonization. Bartholomew Gosnold established himself on the island in 1602.

Chief Tequenoman was in charge of the island during that time. The island was named after the infamous chief. However, even the descendants of the Wampanoag tribe won’t go to the island.
