It was something alien-like that he had never seen in his life.

He wasn’t quite sure what it was. But he knew exactly what he had to do. He picked it up and ran. Wondering how onlookers perceived him.

Business In Nature

Dirk and Lori Morgan were extremely satisfied with their retirement running their Costa Rican lodge in the jungle.

Even though the business was small they loved it being quiet. It meant they could give individual attention to each customer.

Keeping It Small

Their most recent guests were a couple staying there for their honeymoon.

They were staying a week and rented a canoe to go out on the river. While Lori was helping them map a route Dirk was grilling lunch – some beautiful looking kabobs.

Getting Grub Ready

The aroma of the sizzling meat wafted past Dirk. He was happy to make food for everyone.

Dirk looked out at the beach while he cooked the food. But then he noticed something on the rocks.

He saw something shiny amongst the dark rocks. What was it?

He could tell that it wasn’t wood that had washed up on the shore. But it also didn’t look like any kind of trash that he’d seen wash up on the shore before.
