But as time passed, the pain only got worse, and he decided that it was time for a second opinion. When the doctor told him to take a pregnancy test, he realized that he was in uncharted territory. What did they think was going on with him?

Unfamiliar Pain

Byron Geldard had just graduated from high school. The boy from Cambridgeshire, UK, was spiring to become a stand-up comedian. To celebrate the milestone, he decided to go on a trip to Kavos, Greece, with his closest friends.

When he returned home after his trip, the 18-year-old began feeling an unfamiliar pain in his abdomen. At first, he didn’t want to see a doctor about it, but as time passed, the pain got so bad that he couldn’t ignore it any longer.

But in the following days, the pain only got worse, and Bryon knew he’d have to get a second opinion. But this time, the doctor found something concerning.

They Found Something

When the doctor examined Byron, he noticed a lump in his abdomen. The first doctor had put Byron’s mind at ease, but now, his worst nightmare had been realized.

The doctor referred Byron to a specialist who could get a clearer picture of what was going on with him. He left terrified, but he had no idea how strange this experience could get.

Surreal

A few weeks before the pain started, Byron saw a documentary about the early stages of pregnancy, so he was familiar with ultrasound scans and how they worked.

He was nervous about what the doctors would tell him, but the aspiring stand-up comedian managed to see the funny side of going through the same procedure as a pregnant mother. But all of a sudden, everything became so surreal.
