Man Wins Powerball Then Gets Sued By Ex-Wife For Same Amount

We have all imagined what it would be like to win the big lottery prize at least once in our lives. Some would use it to put an end to their financial struggles, others would use it to help their friends and family and some would indulge in a lavish and glamorous lifestyle, but end up penniless shortly after.

But sometimes, some people don’t even get to smell a whiff of the prize. It’s well known that with more money comes more problems. These problems can come in the forms of leechers, taxes, or haunting debts from the past. That’s what happened to Lamar Walker.

Life had been anything but easy on Lamar Walker. Born and raised in the slums of Statesville, North Carolina, Lamar grew up without much money in the house. At a young age, he had to start earning money in order to help his parents pay bills, and during this time, he had even done time in jail.

Back then, if anyone had told him that he would win millions of dollars in the lottery, he wouldn’t have believed them. During those years, his life was a hustle and it didn’t seem like the struggle would ever end.

It Was About To Change

Lamar was 34 years old when a miracle struck. He had years of stories, grievances, and struggles behind him that he had to overcome.

But he had no idea that his fortune would change for just a minute. One thing his mother always used to say was that “the same thing to make you laugh will make you cry.” But little did Lamar know that he was about to learn this lesson the hard way.

But how did it happen? One typical morning, Lamar woke up, got dressed, and got into his car. He then decided to stop at a nearby gas station.

He never really gambled before, but on this day, it was like he was moved by some weird force of destiny. He decided to buy one lottery ticket. It was insignificant to him, he almost forgot about it until just a few weeks later, when he received an unexpected email.

He was the winner of a prize worth 1 million dollars! He couldn’t believe it. After he had just read the email, his mind went completely blank for a few minutes How could this happen to him?
