Mom Checks Spam Folder And Realizes She Was A Millionaire For Months

Surely it was fake, right? How could it happen so suddenly? She hadn’t a clue that the link would change her life so drastically. The message ended up in her spam folder, after all. Her mind echoed with horror stories about scams.

However, there was no turning back now. The only option was to keep moving forward. Out of all the possibilities she could have predicted, she had no idea what would happen.

Hard Worker

There was nothing special about Diana Williams. She was a hardworking woman who had bills to pay. Her life wasn’t easy, but she knew everything would be worth it in the end.

But she had to make do, for the time being, just skimming by. She, on the other hand, never gave up hope. There were small things that kept her in a good attitude, such as her weekly ritual after her classes.

Her Reminder

Every single day, without fail, Diana would stop by the garage to fill up on gas, buy herself a convenience meal from the store and a lottery ticket. This ritual kept Diana sane.

The lottery tickets never meant much to her, it was more of a habit than an intentional act. Buying herself a lottery ticket reminded her that there was much more to look forward to in life. In retrospect, she should not have forgotten it at all; that was the last thing that she should have done.

Ambitions

As soon as Diana could leave, she left – just to show her parents that she could. What she didn’t think of was how many long hours she’d have to work just to make ends meet.

Diana was in the pursuit of her actuarial degree. It was a very demanding qualification but Diana accepted it with open arms. However, this degree also required a lot money which was why Diana struggled financially. Things would soon change for her.

Spam Folder

Diana received some disturbing news one day while at university. Her college administration informed her that she had not registered for the upcoming semester. She couldn’t fathom how that could have happened.

When she asked why, they merely responded, “It’s possible you didn’t receive the email. It could be in your spam folder.” She couldn’t believe that something as insignificant as her spam folder might jeopardize her goals. But it wasn’t the strangest email she’d ever received.
