Jordan Reynolds was proud of his hair, he had been taking good care of his hair, and now, at 14, he had beautiful dreadlocks. It was as if his hair were a part of his identity.

Melanie and Max, more commonly known as the Youtuber Maxbeatbox, were Jordan’s parents. Jordan grew up in a house where creativity was encouraged. It was important for Jordan’s parents that he find the means to express himself creatively.

Passionate Family

Jordan’s siblings grew up in the same environment and they were also motivated to creatively express themselves.

Jordan’s father was a passionate man, and he was lucky enough to have a job that he loved. It was his job as a musician to make music for different things. These included films, television, and commercials.

He frequently encouraged his children to pursue what they are passionate about, just as he did.

Deep Roots

Dreadlocks date back thousands of years. In murals, Minoans are often depicted wearing dreadlocks.

There have even been mummies discovered in Egypt who wore dreadlock headpieces. Dreadlocks were also worn by the Aztecs. Jordan’s hairstyle was therefore rooted in a rich history.

Loud Barks

When Jordan’s dog started to bark uncontrollably, he assumed he was excited because he wanted to go on a walk. Jordan’s mother, however, did not believe that.
