Mom Insists On Walking To Work Until Husband Surprises Her

He was furious! He couldn’t pull his eyes from the screen as he watched what his neighbor was showing him. He couldn’t find any explanation as to why his wife would do something like this!

She had been acting so strangely and he had no explanations as to why. She was secretive and gave him vague responses when he questioned her behavior. However, after what he just saw he knew he would be getting his answers soon.

Perfect Couple

Marvin and Jaylesya were a married couple living in the small town of Red Oak, in North Carolina. Marvin worked hard to provide for his family. He worked in a warehouse while Jaylesya lived her life as a housewife. They had been married for 20 years at this point.

Everyone that knew them thought that they were the perfect couple, their marriage seemed humble, yet happy and steady. Every marriage has skeletons in its closet, but there didn’t seem to be any with Jaylesya and Marvin.

Comfortable Lives

Marvin loved how simple and easy their lives had been as common country folks. He always pitied people that lived in the big cities, everyone was so busy, and he wondered if they ever got the chance to sit still and get their heads together about what they wanted in life.

He always thought that he and his wife had their lives all figured out. Now all they had to do with their lives was to comfortably and happily grow old together. At least, that’s what Marvin thought.

Difficult Time

After years of running as a successful business, the warehouse Marvin worked at suddenly entered a difficult time. This was all because of changes in the supply chain which the company was a part of, and sadly, there wasn’t much anyone could do about it.

Slowly but surely, the warehouse began to fire people. The workers that weren’t immediately fired now had to work fewer hours which meant that they had less money to take home at the end of every week.

Marvin was up all night, praying that the situation would improve, or at least not get much worse.

Necessary Changes

But sadly, things only seemed to get worse. A few months after the trouble had started, Marvin was taking home half of what he used to earn. It got to the point where it was hard for him to pay the bills.

Jaylesya and Marvin sat together and agreed on what changes were necessary. It seemed that Jaylesya would have to find a job. But soon enough, she managed to find work, helping in a restaurant’s kitchen. The pay was alright, but there was one problem.
