Mom Left 1 Year Old Alone With Dog For Seconds

She was frozen in place. Her dog had only been adopted a few days ago but she never expected him to do anything to her precious child as soon as she looked away.

She was about to take action but that’s when she realized something was very wrong. Then she finally understood what was going on.

New Member Of The Family

Catherine Svilicic and her husband welcomed their newborn into the world – Charlotte. But they decided to make their family even bigger.

They decided that the perfect addition to their family would be a dog. It would teach their daughter growing up a little responsibility and she’d also gain a companion.

Rescue

They wanted to adopt a dog and give it a second chance at a new home. They decided to go to the nearest shelter and look for their new companion.

Soon they found a beautiful dog that that formerly been from a breeder. The problem was that this breed was known for being unpredictable.

Risky Business

The breed was a Doberman Pinscher. They had a lot of pedigree in protecting people and property. This meant they could be very aggressive if it came down to it.

Since then they have been bred to be gentler animals but that doesn’t mean their reputation isn’t still formidable. But the dog Catherine saw made her heart melt.

A Sad History

Kerry Kinder had bred the dog. she was the owner of the Doberinling Boarding Kennels in Australia. After finding out he hadn’t been treated right he was rescued and put in a shelter.

He didn’t look good at all, his ribs were easily visible because of how skinny he was. They had even been considering putting him down, but Catherine wouldn’t let that happen.
