Her lips parted as she became aware of another thing in the restaurant. A senior woman with two young daughters was invited to join the manager in the kitchen. She realized she needed to document it.

The main reason Elise and her husband Todd visited that diner on that particular day was to try its renowned cajun fried chicken.

Todd and Elise Tucker were touring Texas for their vacation and stopped by Houston as part of their trip. The middle-aged pair had been hard at work for the majority of the previous ten years.

The two began their Texas trip in Pasadena, and before they knew it, they had arrived in Houston. Elise looked for the best restaurants before giving a brief overview of the attractions they would explore.

She grinned when the name of a diner that offered some of the greatest cajun fried chicken in the city was mentioned. Elise, who has strong ties to Louisiana, was eager to experience the meal. What awaited them in that diner was unknown to her.
