Mom Takes Photo Of Stranger Picking Up Boy In Target Then Realizes Something Is Off

She moved as fast as she possibly could as she raced through all of the isles. She wanted to get out of that store as fast as possible, but first she had to get all of the items on her shopping list. The sound of a child crying echoed through the store and made her head spin.

She expected to find bruises by the end of the day, after all, she had a few after the last time he had a kicking fit. Strangers were sending her judgmental glares and one even had the audacity to approach them and to reach for her son.

Rebecca Patterson was having a tough day as she desperately tried to find a babysitter. “Are you sure? I just need a couple of hours.” She pleaded over the phone, but there was not a single person that could help her.

The girl that usually babysat for her wasn’t available and she couldn’t find anyone else to help her out. She had to go to the store, she needed the items on her shopping list. She sighed when she realized that there was only one thing she could do. She buckled her kids into the car.

Difficult Phase

She strapped her two-month-old into their car seat as their two-year-old brother sat next to them.

Her two-year-old was in a difficult phase and would respond with “no!” to everything. He refused to let her buckle him in and she had to plead, “We’re going to that store you like.

Just hang in there, baby.” She hoped this would calm him down as she quickly got into the car and started driving to the store.

At The Store

When they got to the Target, she turned around to look at her older son. He was sporting a deep frown on his pouty face.

Usually, this would lead to a tantrum and she wasn’t ready for that. He tightly folded his arms across his chest as his breathing became heavier. This wouldn’t take too long, she just needed to get a few items. She took her boys with her and got a shopping cart before entering the store.

No Cookies

She held her baby on her hip while her older child sat in the cart she was pushing, still frowning deeply.

She was there to grab the essentials. When her son noticed her passing the cookies without getting any, tears started streaming down his face as loud sobs filled the air. She told him that she would get some next time, but she could feel the tantrum nearing the surface.

When she looked up, she noticed the displeased looks that strangers were shooting her way.
