Bobbi Sayers was only 17 when she got pregnant. It was back when the WWII just ended when everyone frowned upon teen pregnancies. Now, at 74-years old, Bobby recalls that “Back then, you didn’t do that.

You didn’t have babies.” And more than being pregnant, she was also all alone!

After giving birth to her son who she named Paul Joseph, she got to hold him for a day. Then, she was forced to give him up for adoption. The heart-broken mom had to move on and graduate from high school.

Years later, she got married and changed her last name to Vance.
