Mom Needs To Get Daughter Home, Waitress Won’t Let Her Leave

She thought that she could finally enjoy a dinner out, but her child had other plans. She threw a tantrum that had her mother embarrassed in front of all the patrons.

She just wanted her meal to-go, but it turned into a blown-up Facebook post. Why would they refuse a single mother trying to make ends meet?

Tough Decision

Courtney Pedigo didn’t know what she could do. She felt like she deserved a nice meal out with her family, but she was worried about how her daughter would act at the restaurant.

She didn’t want to worry over this so she decided to go to her local Olive Garden in North Carolina. The way she and her baby were treated made it an evening she would remember.

Surprising

Courtney always thought about having a child. She loved playing with her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She never had to handle the tantrums though, when that would happen she’d just pass the child back to the mother. She adored them, but she wasn’t ready for a child just yet. Then something surprising happened to her.

Baby Harlynn

Harlynn weighed a healthy eight pounds when she was born. Courtney instantly fell in love with her daughter, she knew she would make a good mother. She knew that whatever twists and turns there would be, she’d be ready.

She didn’t need a man in her life. She just needed her daughter. She found the first few months difficult and worried whenever her daughter wasn’t in sight.

But as she spent all of her time with her daughter, she felt like she needed to spend some time with friends or family.

Busy Night

Courtney arrived at the Olive Garden with her father, stepmother, their friends, and little Harlynn. Who was already stirring.

Courtney felt that she deserved a normal night out with people just like anyone else. She shouldn’t have to worry about what people thought of her daughter. As she entered the restaurant there was a waitress waiting to serve them.

The night was busy and Courtney never thought by the end of it there would such a stir that involved an employee.
