In Adam’s college town, there was a sense of peace and tranquility.

In an unusual turn of events, Adam found himself butting heads with a neighbor one Friday afternoon like any other.

Adam liked fighting for the underprivileged and intended to do so for a cause he believed in, but something in Adam’s jeans changed his life forever.

Anxiety

When Adam confronted the man, he didn’t know what to expect. As he reached down into his jeans, the man seemed to be unappreciative of him calling him out. He went from being confrontational to being weak almost immediately.

While he had no idea what the man was showing him, he could tell from the look on his face that the experience was anything but pleasant.

It was so painful to see what Adam was hiding that he wished not to have confronted him at all.

Never Be The Same

Following the confrontation with his neighbor, Adam’s life would be turned completely upside down.

As a result, he would learn that confronting people when he didn’t know everything about them could lead to harsh consequences.

His spine would tingle every time he remembered the man’s name after the dust settled. The confrontation wasn’t over, however, and he went back to his house to prepare for it.

Out Of Nowhere

During spring break, Adam was parking in front of his apartment building when the incident occurred. Most college students were heading home to their families at this time of year, so the area was almost completely deserted.

Adam gazed cautiously around the eerily empty parking lot as he left his vehicle.

A man suddenly emerged from his car, catching his attention.

Unknown Individual

As far as he knew, it was his first time meeting him. Adam was caught off guard by his sudden appearance.

It was no secret to Adam that the usual parking spot was occupied by someone else every single day. The situation was different today, however.

His intuition told him something wasn’t right.
