Wayne always believed that he was a capable man. He had encountered problems on projects before this one, but the only difference was that there was always a solution. When it came to professional problems, the need to not disappoint his clients pushed him to achieve.

However, there was something different about this time. It hit close to home. The more his neighbors derided and rejected his initiative, the more he became driven to keep going.

A Peaceful Life

Wayne Martin was a local to a rural area in Southern Carolina. His father was a farmer, and his mother was the caretaker of their property. Wayne had two older brothers, and out of the three of them, he daydreamed the most.

His brothers grew up to be fantastic farmhands, but Wayne knew that he was destined for something greater. However, his father did not appreciate that his head was always in the clouds.

A Hard Worker

Wayne was the opposite of lazy. He had always been a hard worker. The issue was that he felt his efforts would be best invested in planning his future.

Wayne always planned out every aspect of his future, even though his family did not always acknowledge that. Sadly, his hidden skills frequently caused him to clash with his father.

Like Father Like Son

Wayne’s father was an excellent farmer. The family farm had been passed down for generations, and everything that he knew he learned from his father. Farming was essentially the only thing Wayne’s father knew how to do.

He was proud of his farm, and he wanted his sons to follow in his footsteps. He raised them the same way his father raised him and hoped for the best. His father, Martin, was not happy when Wayne first expressed his intention to be an architect.

How He Spent His Time

When Wayne first began neglecting his chores on the farm, his family believed he was just acting lazily. Mr. Martin was initially enraged by Wayne’s preference to spend his time writing architectural blueprints.

Wayne’s ideas could have been influenced by a science fiction film. It was weird and absurd, especially in the context of the current times. Wayne was pursuing pipe dreams, in his opinion, and he advised him to abandon them.
