Cop Noticed Panicked Dog and Decided to Follow Him To A Surprising Scene

Slowly but surely Officer Jeff Gonzalez makes his way to the front door of this eerily quiet house. Accompanied by the dog he found earlier, roaming the streets, he lets out a sigh as he knocks the door.

He can feel his heartbeat in his throat as he pats the dog, reassuring him everything will be fine. But after a few knocks, Jeff yells out, “Is anybody in here?” His response? Silence.

He pushes the door forward slightly and is surprised to see its open. He knew what he had to do. He pushes the door forward more and enters the home followed by the dog.

A Sunny Sunday Morning

It started out as a beautiful Sunday morning in Winsconsin when Jeff was on his daily patrol. Sat in his car eating a fluffy doughnut, he watched as hundreds of residents enjoyed the glorious sunshine. Kids were playing and parents were sunbathing.

But as he took a sip of his fresh coffee, he noticed something across the road.

Pacing Up And Down

It was a dog and it seemed to be on the loose, pacing up and down the streets. “What was this dog doing here?” Jeff thought to himself. Was it lost? Or had it run away from home?

Placing his coffee cup in his tray, he starts up the car and pushes forward on the accelerate button. He knew he had to get it off the street to protect it.

Looking For Attention

Jeff cruises closer to the dog, getting a better look. It seemed to be a Rottweiler and in good health, but the dog wasn’t phased by Jeff and his police car. Jeff gets out of the car and slowly approaches the dog.

The dog immediately perked up and seemed to be thrilled to have gotten someone’s attention. But why was it looking for attention?

On A Mission

Now that the dog had Jeff’s full attention, he jumped up at Jeff, his tail wagging and his tongue hanging out. Then all of a sudden the excited dog began to run away from him.

Startled, Jeff decides to follow the dog and see if he can be of any assistance. This dog was clearly on a mission, and now Jeff found himself on the mission too.
