Fashion Trend Mistakes That Make You Look Old
We all experience old age, and there is nothing strange with mother nature taking its course. As the days pass, it simply becomes a fact of life. Still, nobody should age before their time.
There are tons of things that people like doing that could make them look older. We’re here to single out a few, whether done deliberately or not.
Too Much Volume
Having the largest, poofiest hair was in style in the 1980s. The volume was kept up with the help of hairspray, but nowadays, it’s extremely easy to go crazy.
Moderate volume can have beneficial effects. Ten years of age that you didn’t wish to take up is the consequence of going overboard. Try drying it upside-down rather than using hairspray. Your hair will get a lot of natural bulk as a result.
Overly Long Hair
Having hair that falls over your shoulders can make you appear younger. On the other side, having hair that is too long can make you look older.
You can feel weighed down when your hair extends past your waist. It flattens your hair and may give you the infamous “Cat Lady” style rather than the “Fairytale Princess” look you were going for.
Big and Show Jewelry
Jewelry should complement your fashionable wardrobe, but when it stands out more than your clothing, it might be a problem. “Loud” jewelry might give off an outdated, unattractive appearance.
Jewelry used to be a status symbol, where wearing the most expensive jewelry would draw the most attention. These days, it’s preferable to accessorize lightly and save the showy jewelry for the elderly.
Going Overboard On Fake Tan
I believe that most people can agree on at least one thing when it comes to fashion sense. However, it appears that a few people still need to be informed. Spray-on fake tan is not attractive.
An attractive “at the beach” appearance can be achieved with a natural tan, but a fake tan looks… fake. It’s unattractive and may make you appear more aged and withered.
