People Help Three Adorable Manatees To Swim Out Of River

Manatees are beautiful animals and what many people don’t know about them is that they also swim in rivers. Unfortunately, some of them are too big and they get stuck in small waters.

This is exactly what happened to three manatees in a small village called Aguachica from Colombia, but luckily, a group of brave villagers decided to give it their best and help them out.

Aguachica is a beautiful village from Colombia that is rich in culture. The people there are authentic and the village is filled with colorful buildings as we can see in the picture featured above.

There is a river close to this village and manatees breach from time to time.

Even though manatees look weird, no one can deny the fact that they are amazing. These harmless water giants are adorable and they love to interact with humans. This is what makes them special.

18. Getting Stuck

Our story starts when three manatees get stuck in a river closer to Aguachica. The part of the river where the manatees got stuck is filled with mud and the water giants couldn’t get out on their own because it’s too slippery.

17. Heavy Giants

The reason why the manatees find it so difficult to get out of the muddy waters is because they are super heavy.

An adult manatee weighs somewhere around half a ton and to top it all off, their skin is super smooth as well which doesn’t help getting out of mud.
