People Share The Extreme Lengths They Went To Because Of FOMO

An Unusual Initiation

Fear of missing out (FOMO) is a double-edged sword. Often, we feel like we should grab onto any opportunity that comes our way because we don’t know if we will ever get that chance again. There are times where FOMO pays off and other times when it does not.

People around the internet are remembering the times they did something they normally wouldn’t out of FOMO.

I joined my friends in auditioning for the musical in my senior year of high school because I just happened to be friends with many theatre kids. I ended up with a supporting role, including a duet and a decent amount of lines.
