People That Were Clinically Dead Share What They Saw

What happens when a person dies? It’s a question that has been asked millions of times but is nearly impossible to answer.

There are, however, a few people who have experienced it firsthand… People whose hearts have stopped beating for seconds or minutes at a time and who have come back with what happened while they were in the great beyond.

Some speak of peace and serenity, while others are visited by ghosts and relatives or even experience their worst nightmares. Let’s take a look at some of the tales from people who were brought back from the dead.

On One Side of the River

Long before I was born, my mom was clinically dead after getting a root canal. It got infected and her throat swelled up to the point where it blocked off her airways. She was gone for about 5 minutes.

  During that time, she saw a dark river but couldn’t see the other side, and instantly knew that it was “the other side.” Someone came up behind her and said, “It’s not time yet.” She never saw who it was said it.

Finding God

My ex’s father had his entire arm ripped off in a freak farm accident. He lost a lot of blood because no one was within yelling distance of him. We later found out that he died twice, once in the field where he was found and once in the hospital.

When he woke up, he said he saw God and that he was sent to hell for all his sins. He wasn’t a believer, but he became a Christian after that.

Feeling Like Ant-Man

I was only dead for about a minute, but I was unconscious for over 3 hours, and the only thing that comes close to what I experienced was the end of the movie Ant-Man -the part when he goes subatomic.

There were bright colors and distorted shapes, followed by sudden darkness and silence. Time was different, like it wasn’t moving. Sometime later, I began hearing voices in the room and it was then I realized I was back.

Stopped By a Stranger

When my grandmother was very young, she suffered from a terrible fever and her parents had been told that she would die. When she did, she was taken to a place where there was a mountain which she wanted to climb.

When she began, there was an old man who stopped her. He said that she had work to do first, before it was her turn to climb. She came back to us after that.
