Principal Fires Janitor For Being Too Old, But This Makes Him Regret His Decision

Mark took his role as principal very seriously and prioritized productivity and efficiency above all else. He just couldn’t stand to let Craig work at his own pace, even though he had spent the better part of his life working as the janitor at the local middle school.

Craig had worked at Buffalo Middle School his entire life. He was the school janitor, and had first landed the gig when he was only 19 years old. Now, at the age of 67, he knew just about everything there was to know about the school. He knew every secret, every hallway, and every room.

Craig had worked at the school for so long he’d actually forgotten the names of some of the previous principals. But there was one he would never forget: Mark.
