And if you thought dogs cannot match their owners smiles, think again! One special Pit Bull named Shortcake is the sweetest dog ever that won’t stop smiling all day long! But this happy pooch wasn’t always so cheerful.

Shortcake was found on the street, and her situation was challenging. She had a hernia and mange, but after being taken off the streets and sent to a shelter, rescuers from the Fresno Bully Rescue took her in…

The poor pup was not feeling very well, but her smile melted everyone’s hearts. They all took care of her, she got treated for mange, and as soon as she was feeling better, it was time to find this pup a home.

When Amy Matsushima, 35, saw Shortcake’s photo online, she knew this pup was for her. People at the rescue told her the situation, said Amy in an interview with the Daily Mail, “but with the care of the rescue and her amazing foster family, she recovered quickly.”
