Man Digs In Garden And Uncovers Mysterious Object, Takes Him 10 Years To Find The Truth

Brian wipes the sweat from his forehead as he plunges his shovel deeper into the dirty ground. He can feel his pulse pounding in his temples as he digs, anxiously anticipating to find something that he really didn’t want to find.

But he had to check. For the sake of his children. Suddenly he hears a bang as his shovel hits an object. He felt his insides grow warm in an unpleasant way and his stomach, though empty, writhed as if struggling with a rich meal.

He reaches down into the dark hole and feels around. His fingertips scratching against the grainy soil. And then he touches it.

A Brand New Start

The day before, Brian unlocks the keys to his new home, a bungalow perched on the top of a hill with over 3 arches of land. His two children race inside, on a quest to find the biggest bedroom and claim it as theirs.

Brian lets out a sigh of relief as he looks at his new home. He was excited about a fresh start; it was a brand new chapter he was ready to write! Little did Brian know he should have found someplace else to write his new chapter.

This house was not the place for that. Not even close.

Off To The Store

Once he was settled in and unpacked, Brian decided to start working on the garden. The previous owner seemed to have had a tree stump removed from the lawn and its gaping hole that was left was a complete eyesore!

He decided to go to the store to get a new shovel. As he kissed his kid’s goodbye at their school, he headed off to the store. But Brian had no idea what he was about to discover.

You Need To Leave Your House

As Brian browses through the aisles of the supermarket, he notices an elderly couple pointing and looking at him. He asks if there’s a problem but the couple shrug and sheepishly walk away.

But then suddenly the old man rushes over to Brian, “you’ve just moved into the bungalow on Rose Hill right?” Brian was confused. “Yes we’ve just moved there,” Brian replies. Then suddenly the old man’s face goes white as chalk.

“You need to get out as fast you can,” he whispers.

Who Was He?

Brian was stumped. “What do you mean?” he asks, his heartbeat in his throat. “Go to the library and look up the house,” the old man demanded. “And be careful of the garden,” he says before walking away.

“The previous owner liked to hide certain things.” Brian was lost for words. Who was this old man? How did he know about Brian’s new home? And more importantly what exactly happened at his new home? Brian needed answers.

And he needed them fast.
