A Dire Situation

The security officer had forced him back the two blocks to the grocery store where he had been yesterday. He tried to imagine what he could be guilty of.

When they got back to the store, he spotted the elderly lady from the day before. He steeled himself for whatever accusations she would throw at him. What had his supposed crime been this time? But her words would surprise them all.
