Before “lit,” “woke” and “spilling the tea,” there was different slang. Slang that made us sound cool. The late ’90s and early ’00s added so many good phrases to our vocabulary. Sadly, we can’t use most of them anymore. Because after a couple of years (or decades), it’s just slang that makes you sound old. Teenagers these days are a tough crowd, so avoid using any of this old slang if you don’t want to sound out of touch.
Redonkulous

“Redonkulous” was used as a cool and much-needed way of adding extra emphasis on “ridiculous.” It was usually said in a positive or complimentary way. But if you still say it today, well, it would be nothing short of, for lack of a better word, redonkulous.
