Soldier MIA In Afghanistan Found In Unlikely Place

As she held what was once his property in her hands she wept. She knew what kind of life she was marrying into but she didn’t know it would end this badly. And the saddest thing was that it wasn’t over just yet.

She decided to start up his laptop and look through his photos, maybe it would console her. But instead, she found a mysterious note that made things all the more complicated.

Emily And Mark

Emily was over the moon when Mark proposed to her. She thought that her future would be full of happiness. But being married to a soldier came with its complications.

Her husband was First Lieutenant in the Army and was one of the most patriotic men she had ever met.

Awaiting Deployment

Shortly after getting married, they had a child named Brittany and Mark told her it was the happiest day of his life. She meant the world to him, but his next deployment was around the corner and he would have to leave.

Emily was worried when he was called to be deployed to Afghanistan. She’d heard horror stories among the military wives in her social group.

Tearful Goodbyes

That was the worst place he could have been sent in her mind. He was headed straight into the fire. Mark had to leave his wife and 6-month-old baby behind to protect his country. But things would have a strange twist for Mark.

After seeing what was on the laptop she sprinted to the kitchen where she wrote the message down, trying to decipher what it meant.
