Pier 1 Imports
On the verge of store closures at the end of 2019, Pier 1 Imports announced that in January 2020, it would shut down up to 540 additional stores, Almost half of its store count.
The shutdowns include 331 locations across the United States and all of the stores in Canada. The home goods retailer filed for bankruptcy in February. It was founded in 1962 in San Mateo, California, United States.

Gap
In 2019, Gap INC. notified everyone that it would be shutting down right about 50% of its Locations in the time of 2 years. The retailer collapsed 40 stores globally in early 2020 January, including around 30 United States Locations.

Walgreens
Walgreens announced in late August 2019 to shut down 200 United States Locations just below a multiple-year costing/cutting result. This Group of shutdowns is in addition to the 750 stores the pharmacy chain earlier confirmed.
It was founded on December 29, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Walgreens has said all their stores should be shut down by this year. The chain has been taking a major portion of cutting back.

Dunkin’
Also known as Dunkin’ Donuts, the chain has announced its plans in July to close to somewhere around 800 locations over the country. 450 stores within speedway gas station locations with multiple hundred stores that are poor performing.
