School Expels Teen Over Outfit, Regrets It When They See Who Dad Is

How you dress says a lot about you to the rest of the world. This is true no matter if you are an adult or a teenager. Our clothing and fashion sense are a way of expressing ourselves.

Many schools, however, don’t allow or encourage their students to express themselves through their clothing. Many students are not happy with the new strict dress codes.

Demetra Alarcon, an average from California, was confused when she was pulled out of class and sent to the principal’s office. As far as she was concerned she had done nothing wrong?

Before she knew what was happening, the school was calling her father. After her father arrived 

Enough Is Enough

Her father’s jaw was hanging agape. He was stunned by how the school was berating his daughter. He stood up and prepared for a fight. Sleeves rolled up, he knew that he could not allow this kind of attack on his daughter.

Doting Dad

Tony Alarcon was a loving and protective dad. He was not the kind of man who would just let something like this slide. He was used to getting things his way as he was a banker and real estate mogul.

He was not going to let the school get away with the things they were saying about his daughter. 

Overreaction

Demetra had been humiliated by the things the school had said about her and how she was singled out by the school. It was humiliating to be in that situation even though it wasn’t the first time there had been such a situation at the school.

She never imagined that there would a problem when she chose her outfit that morning.

Her school didn’t have a uniform or specific dress code. They did have certain general rules to adhere to. It was a typically hot morning in California when Demtera chose her outfit that morning, never expecting that it would cause such a stir.
