Teacher Restores Classic Car Then Principal Tells Him To Leave

It was the beginning of a new week, and he made his way to work at a high school. He was under the impression that both students and teachers would rush to see his brand-new car.

However, the attention he received was not the kind he was bargaining for. The principal would rush out of the building to speak with him. He noticed that the principal was in a foul mood.

Something was amiss, and the only thing the principal said to him was, “That car, do you understand what you’ve done?”

Teaching Was His Passion

Travis Allen loved his job more than anything in the world. Being a teacher meant that he directly impacted the future generations. His students adored him, and he was close friends with all of his co-workers.

However, one fateful morning, Travis received news that shook his entire world. It took him a very long time to deal with the horrible emotions that came with the news.

Sad News

Travis learned that one of his dearest friends and coworker had passed away. The news was unexpected, to say the least. It affected Travis the most out of all the faculty members, even though everybody was friends around the school.

Travis felt heartbroken by the news and knew that he had to go stop by his friend’s wife to see if she was doing alright. They were best friends, and it was the right thing to do.

Condolences

Travis anxiously waited for the last school bell to ring so that he could go visit his late friend’s wife. She lived in a house just outside of town, and it was about a 30-minute drive.

He pulled up to her driveway and climbed out of his car. He took a deep breath before knocking on her door. When she opened the door, he gave her a big hug. However, Travis noticed that something was amiss. She told him that he must take something back with him during his visit.

The Object

She told him to go look in the garage, and he did exactly that. He cautiously opened the garage door and looked inside. The room was cluttered, but Travis knew exactly what she was talking about. The thing he had to take home with him was hidden beneath a tarp.

Travis moved closer. He could see that the thing had been untouched for nearly decades. He took the fabric in his hand and began to peel it off. However, what he witnessed astounded him.
