Teen Insists She Remembers Old Life After Coma
She woke up feeling confused and overwhelmed. She was informed that she had just woke up from a coma, and she felt like she had just woke up in some movie.
That wasn’t the end of it, however. The family that stood by her bedside day in and day out were in for a rude awakening. They had no idea what news would accompany her awakening.
Unexpected Turn
The hands of fate can turn in unexpected ways at times. Two families living in a secluded area of Michigan are affected by a bus accident, a daughter in a coma, and a startling revelation.
Everything the two families had thought and taken for granted would be thrown into disarray by this unexpected news. But there was a sequence of events that built up to that point.
Two Sides Of The Story
It is a complicated story with two sides. We have the Ceraks on one side, who are from Gaylord, Michigan. Withney, her sister Carly, and her parents, Newell and Colleen.
“Whitney was a very remarkable young lady. I know I’m biased because I’m her mother, but she was so much fun to be around. She had a way of making people feel special.
Colleen recalls, “She made us feel unique.” It’s challenging to comprehend how tough it would be for her and her family to accept what was about to unfold.
Two Peas In A Pod
Laura Van Ryn, the youngest child of four, was from the Van Ryn family of Caledonia. She was the daughter of Don and Susie Van Ryn. Laura and Whitney both attended Taylor University, a small Christian school located in Indiana.
For the Van Ryns and the Ceraks, religion was essential. Both families’ fathers were active members of their respective churches. Both families would have been unable to cope with these occurrences without the support of their religion.
This is how it went down.
A Difficult Day
It was 9 p.m., and the two girls were exhausted. Whitney and Laura had spent their entire day working on gala preparations at the University’s Fort Wayne campus.
Now they were on their way home in the school bus, weary and looking forward to returning home.
Their families were also anticipating their arrival, with dinner on the table, and they expected to waltz through the doors at any moment. However, neither Withney nor Laura appeared to be returning. Instead, both families were surprised by a call.
