Her body was battered by waves of pain, but all she could do was ride it out. Somewhere, she knew her sister was suffering the same pain as herself. However, neither woman could claim they weren’t warned.

They had disregarded all the dire warnings and recommendations. They had a say in it and made the decision. They had no choice but to hope for an end to it and for them to learn the truth.

A Similar Problem

Brittney couldn’t help but chuckle as she lightly spritzed perfume as she watched her sister try to zip up the beautiful white gown. To be fair, she experienced the same issue just moments earlier.

The 33-year-old twin also questioned whether the nearby television team had caught her response. There were reporters and cameramen all around the chapel.

The Media’s Attention

When Brittney and her identical sister Briana became engaged to another set of twins, it garnered media attention. They obviously shared the same kind in addition to their almost infinite number of other similarities.

When word of the story spread online, TLC offered to pay for the entire wedding so they could film it. The event itself was amazing and so dissimilar from the years preceding it.

Similar, But Different

The girls were distinctive females with individual preferences, personality traits, and attitudes. One significant example was Briana’s fear of flying, while Brittney loved to travel, which made planning a vacation difficult.

However, one that their individualism didn’t protect them from was that they shared a lot of different health issues that they had no choice but to endure together.

They Trust Issues

When they were little, Brittney remembers one deeply unsettling hospital visit. She only knew that they were both in excruciating pain, struggling to breathe and that their parents were screaming at the physicians for not knowing what they were doing.
