They Knew Doctors Were Wrong But No One Would Listen

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in July, and the doctor instantly put me on medication that would work. However, I noticed that my symptoms weren’t disappearing.

When I had to go to my follow-up appointment, I was anxious when they told me my doctor wasn’t in the office today but the doctor that will be helping me is just as good.

This doctor prescribed my new medication on top of my current treatment, despite me telling her that I did not feel comfortable with it. Because of her medication, I was sent to the emergency room.

Big Mistake

My best friend Tim got into a serious accident, and they had to amputate his arm. He was sleeping while waiting for the doctors to come to check up on him before the procedure. A nurse walked in and scribbled some things on his file and then he got transferred to the procedure room.

For some reason, they removed his right arm instead of his left!

They managed to rectify the situation, but things were never the same for him after their mistake.

Not A Stomach Bug

My sister had a terrible stomach ache, which progressively got worse. We rushed her to the doctor’s office who gave her medication for a stomach bug.

However, the medication seemed to make things worse so we took her to the emergency room. As it turns out, she was pregnant! It was a terrible experience for everybody.

Second Opinion

My best friend August experienced really bad flare-ups, and the doctor diagnosed her with lupus. However, the treatments he prescribed did not help at all, so she went to a different doctor. The doctor ran numerous tests on her and diagnosed her with allergies and chronic eczema.

She broke down in tears, relieved that someone finally listened to her.

Panic Attack

Harry shared that a few years ago, he was experiencing a tight chest, and breathing felt like a struggle. He crawled all the way from the bathroom floor to his roommate’s room and begged him to drive him to the hospital.

The doctor that was on call dismissed it as gas and gave him medication for it. However, two days later he had the exact same problem and the doctor realized that Harry was experiencing a panic attack, not gas.
