Things About Disney That Only Employees Know
Walt Disney started a legacy when he founded Walt Disney Productions in 1923. After creating critically acclaimed films for over 30 years, the Disneyland theme park was built in 1955.
The park is a place of joy where tourists and locals can go to have a true one-of-a-kind experience. But recently, some ex-employees have shared some facts about Disneyland that wasn’t common knowledge to the public – until now.
Animal Kingdom’s Restrooms
The Animal Kingdom in Disneyland has one strange thing that none of the other parts of the park have. The restrooms have a strange detail that parkgoers always notice. But now we know the reason behind everything.
The restrooms at the Animal Kingdom have doors. The strange thing is that no other restrooms in the park have doors. In the case of animals getting out then, the guests have a place to hide.
Gum Chewing
Chewing gum is banned on Disneyland grounds. But they aren’t just trying to spoil kids’ fun. They need to ensure that kids don’t put their chewed-up gum on the rides, the architecture, and anything else.
But the more important reason is so that no one chokes on gum while on one of the rides. Safety is their first concern, and they aim to make sure that everyone is alright.
Tower Of Terror And The Expedition Everest
Both the Tower of Terror and the Expedition Everest are a whopping 200 Feet high. But both of them share more than that in common. Because of their enormous height, they have to comply with certain laws.
Both the structures have to have red blinking lights on at all times so that any low flying planes can see. This will avoid potential collisions between the planes and the rides.
Environmentally Friendly
Disneyland is a huge attraction and brings in so many people that one would think they aren’t very eco-friendly. Well, the park tries its best to uphold a certain standard when it comes to environmentalism.
A great example is that any food that is wasted is taken and converted into biofuel. This biofuel is used in the shuttles that take guests to and from all of the various forms of entertainment that the park has to offer.
