.Everyone is looking to have a drastic transformation in their lives. People try to change their lives for the better. If they can do it with a simple solution, that’s even more desirable. Well, if you want to see an incredible transformation, look no further than Gwilym Pugh. This man shed a few pounds and grew a beard and then he became a model. For one of the largest modeling agencies in the world, no less.

Pugh’s starting point for his modeling career was when he was working an office job. He wasted away at a desk for eight to 12 hours a day. He was miserable and wasn’t enjoying his life.

Pugh explained, “At that time I was pretty overweight, working 12 hours a day, plagued with injuries which meant I couldn’t train at all.” He was only 21 years old at the time and decided to get his life in order.

So he formed a folk band with a few friends in order to better enjoy himself. And, at the behest of his barber, he grew a beard in order to “fit the role.” Well, turns out that little suggestion, along with working out and cleaning up his diet, completely transformed his life. It lead him to becoming a male model, working with brands like VO5, Vans, Bud Light, and many others. He signed with London’s AMCK Models agency, which is one of the top agencies in the world.

The big difference in his life all started once he quit his day job, that’s when things really took off for Pugh. “It was the best thing for my health as I stopped sitting for nine to 10 hours a day,” he said. But he’s thankful for his newfound fame and hopes to inspire others to do the same. “I think I’m lucky I got into this profession at the age that I did. I try not to get caught up in it all and my girlfriend helps a great deal with that.”

So you may only be dropping some weight and growing a beard away from your dream career, like Pugh. Give it a go and see what happens!
