Man Kept Hearing Strange Noises From Behind The Wall, Look What He Found Inside
Mark Von Thaden was frustrated by holes drilled into the walls of his pool house. He knew that it’s normal for woodpeckers to do this, but it was still annoying.
However, when he removed the insulation on the inside so that he could begin repairs he was met with an astonishing sight.
This Is Not A Drill
When most people think about woodpeckers, the image they conjure up is that of Woody Woodpecker, the cute and cheeky cartoon character.
However, while drilling through trees, walls, cars, etc is fun in the cartoons, when your property is being affected it is less than amusing.
Upgrades
Von Thaden is a fire department captain who lives near Sacramento, California. As it happens, this area is a natural habitat for acorn woodpeckers. In February 2018 he decided to do some repairs and renovations to his pool house.
When he started, however, he had no idea what he was about to find.
DIY Video
Von Thaden shared a video online where he explains the situation. “So I’m doing some remodeling in the pool house here, and I decided to change out the siding on one of the rooms,” he starts, but then you hear his voice changing.
Reveal
He looks at the camera and states: “I’ve determined I hate woodpeckers. And this is the reason why.” He turns his camera slowly and shows the insides of the walls and it becomes clear why he is so annoyed.
