This artifact is also called the Great Sand Sea glass. It is a very rare mineral that looks like a yellow stone. The mineral has only been found in Egypt and a large piece was sculpted into a beautiful scarab.

One of the wilder stories is the Atari landfill. In 1983 the company Atari developed an E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial game that was so bad they couldn’t give the games away.

With thousands of copies of the game, they had to bury them out in the desert just to get rid of them. Today, some people have uncovered them and they’ve sold for good money on eBay.
