We’ve always imagined old ladies being those kind grannies that give kids candy or just a warm smile. However, this old lady in our story was nothing like most grannies! When a young teen set up shop outside a store to sell her Halloween candy, she had no idea a sour lady would ruin her day.
Why did this story go viral? You see, the kid was actually selling her candy to help her poor family.

Helping Her Parents

Most teens or kids these days don’t worry about their next meal. They’re focused on school, friends and hobbies, so you could say they lead a peaceful and carefree life.

But not all families are alike, some of them struggle to put food on the table. This was this young lady’s situation.

Too Young to Get a Job

Being too young to get a job, most teens that come from poor families find a way to earn some money. Whether they get to mow someone’s lawn or help others with their groceries, they feel like they’ve been of good use.

Going to Target

The teen in our story had kept all her and her big brother’s Halloween candy to sell it later on. The two decided to sell it in front of Target, but before setting shop, they went to talk to the store manager.

He agreed to their little business as long as the products weren’t expired and they didn’t bothered customers that got inside or outside the store.

Extra Bucks

These extra bucks would have helped out their parents, thought the teens. The money for the candy would go to groceries and they would eat a hot meal instead of sweets. It was a simple way to make money in just a couple of days.
